type III [mil-a-8625] hardcoat anodizing
• Hardcoat is offered for all aluminum alloys
• No minimum square footage for 6061 or 7075
• Thickness offered 1.0 mil and 2.0 mil
• Custom thickness is available between 1.0 mil to 3.0 mil
(with a 20ft² min)
• Other colors for 6061 Light Grey and Dark Grey for 6061
• Other colors for 7075 Pre-ban Grey and Natural 1.0 mil Gold/Tan
• Specialty colors offered for 1.0 mil coat: Red & O.D. Green
TYPE II (MIL-A-8625 ) ANODIZING
• Available in Red, O.D. Green, Black, and Grey

• Cerakote is available for metals, plastics, polymers and wood
• Aluminum is anodized without a seal before Cerakote to improve adhesion and add another protective layer for the part
• Popular Cerakote colors include: Armor Black (H-190), Burnt Bronze (H-148), Tungsten (H-237), FDE (H-265), Mil Spec O.D. Green (H-240)
• Cerakote is available in all H and E series colors
• Products move from the anodizing line directly into Cerakote®
